Position Overview: Our Team is growing!
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Coordinator that supports the recruitment and staffing processes for IMC Companies and may assist with additional HR responsibilities as needed. This position collaboratively with hiring managers and members of the Human Resources team to help ensure an effective and efficient staffing process and a positive candidate experience. As part of a collaborative HR team, each team member is cross-trained in another area of Human Resources to provide support and ensure continuity across the department.
Essential Job Function
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and fill open positions efficiently.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, professional networks, referrals, career fairs, colleges, and other recruiting resources.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and ensure hiring activities follow company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws.
- Provide a positive candidate experience and serve as a professional representative of the organization throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders on staffing initiatives, hard-to-fill positions, workforce planning, and continuous improvement.
- Manage new-hire onboarding in ADP, including entering employee information, creating personnel files, collecting required documentation, and ensuring all pre-employment requirements were completed accurately and timely.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Two to five years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or talent acquisition preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a team environment.
- Ability to effectively use recruiting tools, methodologies, and technology.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting or applicant tracking systems.
- Dependable and punctual with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Reliable team member who completes tasks on time and follows instructions.
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience as an HR professional with the ability to pivot and to assist as needed.
Work Schedule: Typically, Monday – Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Onsite/Not Hybrid at the IMC Corporate Office in Collierville, TN.
