Which food & beverage companies in Wisconsin sponsor E-3 visas?
Wisconsin's food and beverage sector includes large multinationals and regional producers with documented visa sponsorship history. Companies such as Kraft Heinz, Johnsonville Sausage, Land O'Lakes, and Molson Coors have Wisconsin operations and have filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation roles. Sponsorship activity is concentrated among manufacturers and distributors large enough to maintain dedicated HR and immigration support infrastructure.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most food & beverage E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is Wisconsin's largest concentration point for food and beverage employment, anchored by brewing, dairy processing, and distribution operations. Madison supports roles tied to food science research and agricultural supply chains near the university corridor. Green Bay and Sheboygan host significant dairy and meat processing facilities. Smaller cities like Manitowoc and Fond du Lac also have active food manufacturing employers that periodically recruit specialty occupation candidates.
What types of food & beverage roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Wisconsin?
E-3 sponsorship requires a specialty occupation, meaning the role must typically require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Wisconsin's food and beverage sector, qualifying roles commonly include food scientists, quality assurance managers, process engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, and supply chain analysts. Production supervisor and general operations roles without a degree requirement generally do not meet the specialty occupation standard under USCIS guidelines.
How do I find food & beverage E-3 sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and industry, making it straightforward to search for food and beverage E-3 sponsorship opportunities in Wisconsin without sifting through postings from employers with no E-3 filing history. You can refine results by role type and location to focus on Milwaukee, Madison, or regional manufacturing hubs. Reviewing an employer's Labor Condition Application history through OFLC Wage Search can also confirm prior E-3 sponsorship activity.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for food & beverage E-3 sponsorship?
Wisconsin's food and beverage industry is heavily tied to dairy, meat processing, and craft brewing, sectors that can involve seasonal hiring cycles and unionized workforces. Union environments may require the employer to meet additional prevailing wage and collective bargaining obligations before filing a Labor Condition Application. Food science and agricultural roles near university extension programs in Madison sometimes intersect with research exemptions, but standard E-3 commercial sponsorship rules still apply regardless of employer type.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 food & beverage jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
