Frame your credentials for specialty occupation
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires your Business Manager role to meet DOL's definition of a professional occupation. Before applying, confirm your degree aligns with the management or accounting functions Aprio lists in the job description, not just business administration broadly.
Target Aprio's advisory and assurance practices
Business Manager openings at Aprio often support specific service lines like tax, audit, or advisory rather than general corporate operations. Applying to roles tied to a defined practice area strengthens the case that your position requires specialized qualifications, which matters for PERM documentation.
Understand where PERM fits your timeline
Permanent residency through EB-2 or EB-3 involves a multi-year PERM labor certification process with DOL before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant petition. Factor at least 12 to 24 months for PERM alone into your planning before expecting an approved immigrant visa or Green Card.
Ask about bridging status during the green card process
If you're already in the U.S. on a nonimmigrant visa, confirm with Aprio's HR team whether they'll support a concurrent H-1B petition or status extension while your EB-2 or EB-3 case moves through USCIS. Gaps in work authorization can derail an otherwise clean sponsorship timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Business Manager roles
Aprio posts Business Manager positions across multiple locations and practice areas, and availability shifts frequently. Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship is actively on the table.
Prepare documentation that supports a PERM audit
DOL audits PERM applications by requesting evidence that no qualified U.S. worker was overlooked. Before your offer stage, organize your degree certificates, transcripts, and professional credentials so Aprio's counsel can build a clean record if the application is selected for review.

Find Business Manager at Aprio JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Aprio sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Aprio's sponsorship activity for Business Manager roles has been focused on permanent residency pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, rather than H-1B nonimmigrant petitions. If you need H-1B sponsorship to enter or maintain status while a Green Card case is pending, clarify this directly with Aprio's HR team during the offer stage, as policies can vary by role and location.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Manager roles at Aprio?
Business Manager positions at Aprio are associated with EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, both of which lead to a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process with DOL. EB-2 applies to roles requiring an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers positions requiring at least a bachelor's degree, which fits most Business Manager job descriptions in the accounting and advisory sector.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Business Manager roles at Aprio?
Aprio typically structures Business Manager roles around candidates with a background in accounting, finance, or business management, often with exposure to client-facing or practice operations work within professional services. A relevant bachelor's degree is generally the baseline, with preference for candidates who have experience supporting service delivery in tax, audit, or advisory environments. Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills are consistently expected.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at Aprio?
Browse current Business Manager openings at Aprio through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm sponsorship is available before investing time in an application. When you apply, tailor your resume to reflect Aprio's service line structure and be prepared to address your work authorization status early in the recruiter screening process to avoid delays further along.
How do I plan my timeline for Aprio's Green Card sponsorship process?
Once Aprio agrees to sponsor, the process starts with PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take 12 to 24 months or longer depending on whether the application is audited. After PERM approval, USCIS adjudicates the I-140 immigrant petition, and then you wait for a visa number to become available based on your country of birth and preference category. Building at least three to five years into your planning is realistic for most applicants.
