Position Overview
The Industrial Cleaning Sales Representative will identify new customers, promote industrial cleaning services, prepare proposals, and manage customer relationships throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the drive to generate new revenue in the industrial services market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new industrial and commercial customers.
- Promote industrial cleaning, hydroblasting, industrial vacuum truck, and related specialty contractor services.
- Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, operations personnel, procurement teams, and contractors.
- Conduct customer visits, site assessments, and sales presentations.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and service quotations in coordination with operations.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Follow up on leads and quotes to close new business.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and activity reports.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to expand service offerings.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure customer expectations are met.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, preferably in industrial services, industrial cleaning, construction, maintenance, or specialty contracting.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally for customer visits and business development.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred.
