We are currently looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team.
Position Overview
Our Inside Sales team is the front line of our rental, service, and parts operation.
This position works from our multi-purpose sales counter, assisting both walk-in and telephone customers with tool and equipment rentals, equipment sales, service and repair needs, and replacement parts for customer-owned equipment.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has an interest in tools and equipment, and can manage multiple customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of construction equipment, small engines, power equipment, or the equipment rental industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will:
- Assist walk-in and telephone customers with tool and equipment rentals
- Help customers determine the proper equipment for their project or application
- Create rental contracts, reservations, quotes, and customer orders
- Explain rental rates, equipment operation, rental policies, and applicable charges
- Coordinate equipment availability, pickups, returns, and deliveries
- Recommend additional equipment or attachments that may help customers complete their projects
- Assist customers bringing personal equipment in for service and repairs
- Create service work orders and accurately document customer concerns and requested repairs
- Communicate with customers regarding repair status, estimates, parts, and completed service work
- Assist customers with replacement parts and help identify the correct parts for their equipment
- Look up parts using manufacturer diagrams, catalogs, and computer systems
- Order parts and communicate availability, pricing, and lead times to customers
- Process payments and maintain accurate customer and transaction information
- Work closely with our rental shop, service technicians, delivery drivers, and management team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales and service counter
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service at all times

- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
