We are growing aggressively and need a sharp, relentless Dispatcher to act as the nerve center of our daily operations. You will be taking over daily routing and crew management from our Operations Director so we can continue scaling.
The Role: You are the air traffic controller for our fleet. If a truck is sitting idle, we are losing money. If a crew is unorganized, we are losing money. Your job is to deploy crews, monitor real-time progress, handle day-of customer communication, and solve problems before they impact the schedule.
What You Will Do:
- Manage the daily board in SmartMoving, ensuring all jobs are staffed, routed, and equipped perfectly.
- Track fleet locations and driver performance using Motive.
- Run the morning dispatch, ensuring crews leave the yard on time, in uniform, and fully prepped for their specific jobs.
- Act as the primary day-of contact for customers, providing ETA updates and handling on-site scope changes.
- Close out jobs daily, auditing paperwork, verifying payments, and ensuring trucks are reset for the next day.

- Systems Thinker: You are highly organized and comfortable running multiple software platforms simultaneously (SmartMoving, Motive, Connecteam).
- Decisive Problem Solver: When a truck blows a tire or a job takes twice as long as quoted, you don't panic. You reroute, communicate, and fix it.
- Authority: You can command respect from a yard full of movers and hold crews accountable to standard operating procedures.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, moving, or fleet dispatching is highly preferred. If you have run dispatch for a service business, you will thrive here.
