We’re looking for a product marketer to own Yardstik’s story and how we’re positioned across our markets, products, and technology.
We've built a lot worth talking about. You will do ICP and competitive research, messaging, launches, and sales enablement to establish how we talk about it.
Why Yardstik
Yardstik is growing fast because we built the Human Trust Platform for a market facing real, growing risks. Thousands of companies use it to know who they're hiring and to keep trusting them long after day one. Behind those companies are millions of workers trying to get hired, get paid, and stay safe on the job. When this works, good candidates move faster and the ones who shouldn't be there don't get through.
Plenty of fast-growing companies work on things nobody will remember. Plenty of meaningful companies move too slowly to feel like anything is happening. But Yardstik is growing fast and the work has a meaningful impact for real people. That's why we work hard every day. And you can be part of it.
We've been a Best Place to Work 6 years running, and first in our category the last 2. This year we added Top Workplaces and the Inc. 5000 to the list. We look for people who are hungry, humble, and smart, and who would rather build something this month than plan something for next year.
If you want to do the best work of your career next to people who will match your effort, this is a good place to do it.
About The Role
We've built a product our customers rave about. This role exists because there's distance between what we've built and how we talk about it. Your job is to close it, and to give our teams what they need to sell what we've made.
What you'll do:
- Research our buyers, our competitors, and our market, then turn it into positioning we use everywhere
- Build the messaging architecture for each industry we serve and each product line we offer
- Lead sales enablement: the materials, the training, and the sessions themselves
- Own product launches, from packaging and naming through the go-to-market execution
- Help create and maintain the sales resources our team needs across our full product line
Represent Yardstik publicly on webinars, at conferences, and with analysts
What success looks like: our teams speak about Yardstik clearly and consistently, our win rate against key competitors increases, and the market starts describing us the way we describe ourselves.
Who Should Apply
You should apply for this role if:
- You've done product marketing for 6+ years at B2B software companies and owned it end to end: positioning, messaging, launches, and enablement
- You're an excellent writer. Most of this job is thinking clearly and writing it down
- You're a confident presenter. You'll be in front of our sales team regularly and on a stage sometimes
- You do real research and turn it into something people use, not something that sits in a folder
- You've worked in a technical or regulated category, or you can show us you learn one quickly
You take ownership and build things yourself
What We Offer
Working at Yardstik, you’ll get:
- An opportunity to propel your career within a rapidly-growing company
- An incredibly supportive team that knows how to celebrate wins
- Startup speed with real ownership and impact
- Monthly team events and quarterly volunteer opportunities
- Access to our downtown Minneapolis office and amenities
- Hybrid work environment
- Medical, dental, and voluntary benefits
- Competitive compensation
Unlimited PTO
Equal Employment Opportunity
Yardstik is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We’re committed to building a team based on talent, qualifications, and merit, welcoming all applicants without discrimination.

Product Marketing Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a product marketing in Minnesota?
Most product marketing roles in Minnesota require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a closely related field, and there is no state-issued license for this role. Employers in the Twin Cities tech and medical device sectors typically expect candidates to show a portfolio of go-to-market campaigns or product launches. Starting in a marketing coordinator or content marketing role at a Minnesota company and building cross-functional experience with product and sales teams is the most common path into a dedicated product marketing position.
How much do product marketings make in Minnesota?
Product marketings in Minnesota earn a median of about $173,300 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $103,160 for the lowest 10% to over $303,350 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire product marketings in Minnesota?
Minnesota product marketing roles are posted by Boston Scientific, Laborie, and BambooMN and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Minnesota's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major medical device manufacturers makes it one of the more active states for product marketing hiring in the Midwest.
Which Minnesota cities have the most product marketing jobs?
Stillwater, Minneapolis, and Edina have the most product marketing openings in Minnesota. The Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro dominates because it is home to a dense cluster of corporate headquarters, technology firms, and healthcare companies, while Rochester draws openings tied to its large medical and life sciences employer base, and Bloomington benefits from its proximity to major retail and financial services operations in the southern Twin Cities suburbs.
Are there remote product marketing jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, and more than most fields, since product marketing is primarily a desk-based, collaborative role that translates well to distributed work. About 50% of product marketing openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the strong tech and SaaS employer presence in the state. The portions of the role most commonly done remotely include content development, competitive research, and campaign planning, while product launches and sales enablement sessions are more likely to require in-person collaboration.
How can I get hired as a product marketing in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a marketing coordinator or associate product marketing role at a Twin Cities technology company or medical device firm and building go-to-market exposure from there. Companies like UnitedHealth Group and large Minneapolis-based SaaS employers regularly hire marketing associates who rotate through product, demand generation, and communications functions. A portfolio showing a product launch plan, competitive analysis, or messaging framework gives candidates a clear edge. Adjacent roles in content marketing, sales enablement, or market research at Minnesota companies are also common bridges into a full product marketing title.
Where can I find and apply to product marketing jobs in Minnesota?
You can find and apply to product marketing jobs in Minnesota on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring in the state right now. Find the roles that fit your experience and apply directly from each listing.
