INTRODUCTION
The scheduler expedites patient care by scheduling and managing assignments for our clinical team. This position will manage initial assignments, communication of assignments and ongoing scheduling needs for the clinical staff and the skilled needs of our patients. Responsibilities will also include medical supply management, in-service presentation coordination, participation in recruitment and retention, and customer service programs. Other duties include scheduling resident appointments and setting up transportation. The scheduler will also be required to work some shifts on the floor as a CNA. The scheduler position is also a back-up for the HR position and will be trained in various HR functions and answer customer calls. Position will require employee to provide direct patient care as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of experience scheduling in the health care industry
- Currently certified as a Nurse Aide (CNA) in Wisconsin
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer proficient and capability of learning new software
- Able to promote strong interpersonal relationships
