This position will partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and recommend technology solutions; gather and prioritize requirements; plan demand; and lead the design, development, configuration, integration, implementation, validation, and operational support of enterprise applications.
The role requires strong hands-on technical and functional expertise in SAP Finance and Supply Chain, third-party logistics (3PL), pharmaceutical serialization, enterprise integrations, and validated systems. The Director will provide leadership across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Human Resources, Regulatory Affairs, and other business functions, while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and compliant with applicable GxP and regulatory requirements.
Partner with business stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Human Resources, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial Operations to translate requirements into scalable, validated, secure, and supportable solutions in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Provide hands-on leadership for SAP PCE solutions, with particular focus on SAP Finance and Supply Chain capabilities, including Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, purchasing, inventory, planning, transportation, and related business processes.
Lead solution architecture, functional design, configuration oversight, enhancement delivery, testing, deployment, validation, production support, and continuous improvement for SAP and connected enterprise systems.
Architect and oversee end-to-end solutions across SAP, Coupa, Tradelink Serialization, third-party logistics providers, TM1 IBM Planning Analytics, MediSpend, Workato, Concur, and related platforms.
Own integration design and delivery across applications, including APIs, EDI, middleware, web services, batch interfaces, SFTP, data feeds, data mapping, error handling, reconciliation, monitoring, support documentation, and operational ownership.
Lead enterprise application capabilities supporting pharmaceutical serialization, traceability, contract manufacturing organizations, contract packaging organizations, third-party logistics providers, and trading partners.
Ensure solutions and changes follow applicable SDLC, computer system validation, change-control, data-integrity, GxP, electronic records, electronic signatures, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, where applicable.
Lead the enterprise application demand-management process, including intake, estimation, prioritization, business-case development, resource planning, portfolio reporting, and communication of releases, service impacts, risks, planned changes, and improvement opportunities.
Establish and maintain application support processes, including incident management, problem management, release management, change control, service performance reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for recurring issues.
Lead and manage external implementation partners, software vendors, managed-service providers, consultants, contractors, and project resources. Define statements of work, delivery expectations, resource plans, service levels, performance measures, and governance routines.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline required.
- SAP certification, enterprise architecture certification, project-management certification, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
- Enterprise applications leadership: 10+ years of progressive experience leading the architecture, implementation, enhancement, and operational support of enterprise applications in a complex business environment.
- SAP and business-process expertise: Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PCE, particularly Finance, Procure-to-Pay, Supply Chain, planning, transportation, and related enterprise processes.
- Integration and logistics capability: Proven experience designing and supporting integrations among ERP platforms, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, EDI/API or middleware solutions, quality systems, and external business partners.
- Life sciences and compliance experience: Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments, including GxP-regulated systems, computer system validation, change control, and audit-ready application operations.
- Technical and leadership skills: Ability to independently translate business needs into scalable solution designs; lead cross-functional teams and managed-service vendors; manage delivery priorities; and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and senior leadership.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $190,000 to $230,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.
