Enterprise Sales Director Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a enterprise sales director in Georgia?
Becoming an enterprise sales director in Georgia typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technical field paired with years of progressive B2B sales experience. Georgia does not require a state-issued license for this role. Most hiring managers look for candidates who have moved through individual contributor and sales management roles at technology, logistics, or financial services companies, which are the dominant employer categories in the Atlanta metro and surrounding corridors.
How much do enterprise sales directors make in Georgia?
Enterprise sales directors in Georgia earn a median of about $159,890 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $79,560 for the lowest 10% to over $292,490 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise sales directors in Georgia?
Employers hiring enterprise sales directors in Georgia right now include NTT DATA, Inspire Brands, and ABM Industries, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's concentration of fintech headquarters, logistics technology firms, and regional healthcare IT companies means enterprise sales director demand is distributed across both large publicly traded corporations and well-funded mid-market players based primarily in the Atlanta and Alpharetta areas.
Which Georgia cities have the most enterprise sales director jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Savannah lead Georgia for enterprise sales director openings. Atlanta anchors the market because it is home to the state's largest concentration of corporate headquarters in technology, financial services, and logistics, while Alpharetta draws significant demand as a recognized hub for SaaS and cybersecurity companies, and Savannah's expanding port-adjacent supply chain sector supports growing enterprise sales teams in that corridor.
Are there remote enterprise sales director jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 60% of enterprise sales director openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the nature of enterprise sales work, which centers on relationship management and virtual presentations rather than a fixed physical site. The most remote-friendly segments are SaaS and cloud platform sales, where deals are conducted primarily through video calls and digital demos.
How can I get hired as a enterprise sales director in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving into an enterprise sales director role from a senior account executive or regional sales manager position at a Georgia-based technology or financial services company. Employers such as NCR Voyix and Global Payments regularly promote from within, and building a record in mid-market sales before pursuing director-level openings is the standard progression. Earning a Certified Sales Professional credential or completing an MBA at Georgia Tech or Emory gives candidates a measurable edge in competitive director searches.
Where can I find and apply to enterprise sales director jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to enterprise sales director jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across technology, logistics, financial services, and healthcare IT employers. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the ones that match.
