- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision makers, becoming the voice of Dyson with retail partners.
- Prepare and lead recurring business meetings with buyers and commercial teams, securing alignment on goals, activities, and solutions.
- Present compelling business cases for promotions, new product launches, and investments, always grounded in clear data.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver account plans, exclusive offers, and process improvements.
- Navigate internal approvals, align key stakeholders, and keep projects moving at pace.
- Coordinate with field teams and other functions to ensure strong execution in-store and online.
Enable Team and Business Success
- Share insights and best practices, supporting a high-performance, solutions-focused sales team culture.
- Champion a proactive, data-driven approach and a relentless focus on execution and results.
What you will bring:
- 7+ years’ national account management experience in consumer or beauty brands, with direct sales responsibility for national retail accounts.
- Advanced skills in account management, P&L operations, forecasting, and sales analysis. Strong Excel and scenario-building capability.
- Demonstrated ability to build and act on commercial plans, negotiate complex agreements, and drive measurable improvement.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and communication skills —comfortable operating with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of proactive problem solving and delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable with frequent travel (20–50%) to customer offices and Dyson sites as business requires.
- Major plus: Experience managing or supporting partnerships with leading beauty retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, TJ Maxx, Revolve, Violet Grey, or Bluemercury.

New York does not require a state-issued license for this role. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree and prior account management or B2B sales experience. Industries like consumer goods, media, and enterprise software are the most consistent entry points, given the density of corporate headquarters in the New York metro area.
How much do national account managers make in New York?
National account managers in New York earn a median of about $79,590 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $47,070 for the lowest 10% to over $156,400 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire national account managers in New York?
Employers hiring national account managers in New York right now include City National Bank, Belden, and Dyson, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of CPG, media, and financial services headquarters makes it one of the deepest markets for national account talent in the country.
Which New York cities have the most national account manager jobs?
New York and East Syracuse have the most national account manager openings in New York. New York City dominates because of its unmatched density of corporate headquarters in consumer goods, advertising, and financial services, while White Plains and Melville draw demand from regional offices and distribution-focused companies operating out of the suburbs.

Yes, and more than many sales roles, since national account managers often work across geographies by design. About 20% of national account manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the relationship-management and strategic nature of the work. The most remote-friendly sub-areas tend to be enterprise software accounts and programmatic media, where client interactions are primarily digital.
