Eaton is currently seeking a Regional Sales Director, Industrial – Northeast Region to join our team. This position is responsible for the Northeast Region and can be based out of the following Eaton locations: Moon Township PA, Boothwyn PA, Franklin MA, Hanover MD, Mountainside NJ, Rochester NY or Richmond VA.
This position leads the regional industrial business strategy to drive profitable growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships. This role directs sales teams and channel partners to achieve revenue objectives, influence strategic industrial opportunities, improve execution excellence, and position Eaton as the preferred provider of electrical solutions across targeted industrial markets. The individual is accountable for overall business performance, customer satisfaction, talent development, and the successful execution of a coordinated “One Eaton” growth strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Industrial Growth Strategy.
• Lead regional industrial sales strategy, identifying growth opportunities across key verticals, strategic accounts, EPCs, distributors, and end users.
• Drive market share gains through targeted customer, product, and channel initiatives
Deliver Revenue and Profitability Growth
• Achieve regional orders, sales, profit, and share growth objectives while maintaining disciplined selling costs.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline focused on both short-term wins and long-term strategic opportunities.
Strengthen Strategic Customer Relationships
• Establish executive level relationships with key industrial customers, engineering firms, EPCs, consultants, and channel partners.
• Influence specifications, standardization efforts, and long-term investment programs that expand Eaton's position within customer operations.
Lead Channel and Market Development
• Expand and optimize distributor and channel partnerships to increase market coverage, customer access, and share of wallet.
• Drive alignment between Eaton resources and channel investments to accelerate growth in targeted markets.
Drive Customer-Centric Execution
• Partner closely with operations, product lines, PMO, engineering, and EESS teams to improve execution, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead recovery and trust-building efforts when execution challenges impact customer relationships.
Develop High-Performing Sales Teams
• Recruit, coach, and develop sales leaders and sellers while building succession pipelines and enhancing industrial sales capabilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum ten (10) years of sales, marketing, commercial, or business development experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience leading people, teams, or sales organizations.
• Experience working across direct and indirect sales models, including agents, distributors, contractors, consultants, partners, resellers, and end users.
• Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.
• No relocation is offered for this position. Candidates must be local/commutable distance to one of the locations listed on the job description.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or technical degree.
• Minimum twelve (12) years of sales management, commercial leadership, business development, or marketing experience.
• Experience leading leaders and managing multi-layered sales organizations.
• Direct sales experience in the electrical, power distribution, data center, infrastructure, or related industry.
• Prior P&L responsibility.
• Knowledge of industrial accounts and complex channels of distribution.
• Product line marketing, channel development, partner enablement, or operational experience.

• Strong people leadership skills, including talent selection, coaching, development, engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
• Proven ability to lead across a distributed regional workforce, balance competing priorities, and align specialized teams serving distinct but connected markets.
• Strong executive presence, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change, promote agility, and support adoption of new tools, processes, analytics, and operating rhythms.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $167000 - $245000 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
