DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative R&D team as a Product Development Engineer III, where you'll help solve important challenges in healthcare, environmental protection, and scientific research. In this role, you'll lead the design, development, and optimization of innovative filtration products and processes while working with cross-functional teams to bring new solutions to market. You'll have the opportunity to advance technology through hands-on engineering work, from concept to commercialization, while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
You'll contribute to significant projects that directly impact our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll apply your technical expertise to solve complex problems, improve existing products, and develop next-generation solutions across our diverse portfolio of scientific instruments and technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in product development in regulated industries
- Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical) or related scientific field
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and analytical tools (finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, mold flow analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Excellence in technical documentation and report writing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of design control processes and quality systems (GMP, ISO, FDA requirements)
- Proven expertise in project management and cross-functional team leadership
- Experience leading design reviews and validation activities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams
- Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and deliverables
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and relevant engineering software
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and analytical techniques
- May require up to 15% domestic/international travel
- May require work in laboratory or cleanroom environments with use of PPE
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $83,300.00–$138,900.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
