ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a senior product marketer who is equal parts AI storyteller and product marketing operator. This person will help define how Eightfold communicates its AI excellence — our agentic capabilities, Talent Intelligence, Responsible AI approach, and technical differentiation — while also owning core product marketing responsibilities for key areas of the product. You will serve as the connective tissue between engineering, product, sales, and the market. Some days you’ll translate complex AI concepts into crisp customer-ready narratives; other days you’ll be driving a launch, refining messaging, building enablement, or supporting analyst and competitive work. If you can comfortably shift between deep technical conversations and commercial go-to-market execution, this role is for you.
What You Will Do
Champion Eightfold’s AI narrative:
- Define and evolve the agentic AI narrative for the market — clearly articulating how Eightfold’s action-oriented agents differ from generic chatbots or workflow automation.
- Translate technical concepts into business value by working closely with engineering, AI research, and product leadership.
- Build high-authority content including technical explainers, briefs, thought leadership pieces, and vision decks that help customers and analysts understand Eightfold’s technical advantage.
- Equip sales and customer teams to confidently speak to our AI architecture, Digital Twin, Talent Intelligence foundation, and Responsible AI framework.
- Monitor the AI landscape (emerging agent frameworks, LLM updates, regulations) and provide guidance on how to adjust messaging, differentiation, and field education.
Own core PMM responsibilities for assigned product areas:
- Develop and maintain product messaging and positioning grounded in customer insights, value drivers, and competitive dynamics.
- Lead go-to-market for launches, partnering with product, engineering, and cross-functional partners to deliver clear, successful launches.
- Create and maintain enablement assets (pitch decks, one-pagers, talk tracks, demo flows) to equip sellers and CS teams.
- Partner deeply with Product Management, bringing customer and competitive insights into roadmap decisions, packaging, and prioritization.
- Conduct market and customer research, win/loss analysis, persona development, and field insight gathering.
- Support competitive intelligence, ensuring the field can accurately position against incumbent HR platforms and AI-native competitors.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What we need from you
- 2-5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with experience supporting technically complex or AI/ML-driven products.
- Demonstrated ability to own core product areas, including developing messaging and positioning, supporting roadmap discussions, and driving go-to-market readiness.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts—including AI architecture, data systems, and emerging techniques—into clear, audience-appropriate narratives.
- Strong writing and content development skills, with experience producing technical explainers, product narratives, vision materials, and enablement without heavy reliance on agencies.
- Experience partnering directly with engineering, AI research, and Product Management, contributing insight and structure across both technical and commercial discussions.
- Proven success supporting sales and customer-facing teams by equipping them with messaging, explanation frameworks, and competitive clarity for technical and non-technical conversations.
- Experience managing go-to-market readiness for new capabilities, ensuring alignment across Product, Sales, CS, and broader GTM teams.
- Ability to synthesize AI trends, competitive movements, and regulatory developments into actionable guidance for messaging, positioning, and internal education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting or collaborating with analyst relations, contributing technical and product clarity for evaluations and briefings.
- Experience working in a multi-product or platform environment, where shared AI foundations support multiple product experiences.
- Comfort operating in fast-moving or ambiguous environments, helping drive clarity across teams.
- Familiarity with enterprise HR technology, talent systems, or adjacent enterprise platforms (not required).

How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Product Marketing
Target PMM roles at B2B SaaS companies with technical products
B2B SaaS companies like Snowflake, Datadog, Twilio, and Confluent need product marketers who understand complex technical products and can translate features into business value. The technical depth required for these roles strengthens the specialty occupation case.
Combine marketing skills with technical domain knowledge
Product marketing managers who can read API documentation, understand data infrastructure, or discuss engineering tradeoffs with credibility are significantly more valuable than generalist marketers. This blend of skills makes you harder to replace and justifies the investment in sponsorship.
Build go-to-market case studies that demonstrate strategic impact
Document product launches you led with metrics - pipeline generated, win rate changes, market share impact, or analyst recognition achieved. Concrete go-to-market results give hiring managers evidence that you drive business outcomes beyond standard marketing execution.
Leverage competitive analysis and market research expertise
PMMs who can produce rigorous competitive battlecards, pricing analyses, and market segmentation studies bring strategic value that supports sponsorship justification. Position yourself as someone who shapes product strategy through market intelligence, not just someone who creates marketing collateral.
Consider technical product marketing roles for stronger visa positioning
Roles titled Technical Product Marketing Manager or Solutions Marketing Manager at enterprise software companies explicitly require technical knowledge alongside marketing skills. These hybrid positions present a clearer specialty occupation argument than general product marketing titles.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Do tech companies sponsor product marketing managers for H-1B visas?
Yes, technology companies are among the most active sponsors for product marketing roles. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, and HubSpot regularly hire product marketing managers and include visa sponsorship as part of their hiring process for qualified candidates.
What makes product marketing different from other marketing roles for visa purposes?
Product marketing sits at the intersection of product strategy, market research, and go-to-market execution. This combination of strategic analysis, competitive intelligence, and cross-functional coordination creates a clear specialty occupation profile that typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a technical field.
What background do product marketing managers typically have?
Many PMMs hold degrees in marketing, business, or a field related to the industry they serve - such as computer science for technical products. An MBA can be advantageous for senior PMM roles. Prior experience in consulting, product management, or sales engineering is also common.
Can product marketing roles qualify for STEM OPT?
If your degree is in a STEM field like data science, computer science, or engineering and the product marketing role directly relates to that field, you may qualify. However, traditional marketing or business degrees do not carry STEM CIP codes, so most PMMs receive the standard 12-month OPT period.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Product Marketing jobs?
When a U.S. employer sponsors a foreign worker for a work visa, they are legally required to pay at least the "prevailing wage" — the average wage paid to workers in the same occupation, in the same geographic area, with similar experience. This is set by the Department of Labor to prevent employers from hiring foreign workers at below-market rates. The prevailing wage varies significantly by role, location, and experience level — for example, a product marketing in California will have a different prevailing wage than the same role in a smaller state. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search.
