INTRODUCTION
Who We Are
We are the first publicly-traded biotech or pharmaceutical company to take the form of a public benefit corporation. Our public benefit purpose is to provide a brighter future for patients through the development of novel pharmaceutical therapies; and technologies that expand the availability of transplantable organs.
United Therapeutics (Nasdaq: UTHR) seeks to travel down the corridors of indifference to develop treatments for rare, deadly diseases. We were founded in 1996 by a family seeking a cure for their daughter’s pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Today, we have six FDA-approved therapies that treat PAH, pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) and neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer. Our near-term pipeline seeks to develop additional therapies for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis (PF).
The cure for end-stage life-threatening diseases like PAH, PH-ILD, PF, and many others is an organ transplant, but only a small percentage of donated organs are available to address the vast need. For this reason, we are working to create manufactured organs to address the shortage of kidneys, hearts, lungs, and livers available for transplant. We believe an unlimited supply of tolerable, transplantable organs will eliminate the transplant waiting list and cure end-stage organ diseases for which transplant is not currently an option.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Visa Sponsorship as a Supply Chain Associate
Target companies with complex supply chains
Major retailers, manufacturers, and logistics companies are most likely to sponsor visas. They understand that supply chain optimization requires specialized expertise that's often hard to find domestically.
Emphasize your systems and analytics background
Highlight experience with ERP systems, demand forecasting, or supply chain analytics. These technical skills help justify the specialty occupation requirement for H-1B applications.
Consider logistics and distribution centers
Companies operating major distribution hubs often need supply chain professionals with international trade knowledge, customs expertise, or multi-modal transportation experience that qualifies for sponsorship.
Focus on procurement and vendor management roles
Strategic sourcing positions requiring supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, or global procurement expertise are more likely to meet H-1B specialty occupation requirements than basic coordination roles.
Look for roles requiring supply chain certifications
Positions asking for APICS, SCM, or Six Sigma certifications signal companies that understand specialized supply chain knowledge, making them more open to visa sponsorship.
Apply to companies with international operations
Businesses with global supply chains value professionals who understand international logistics, trade regulations, and cross-border operations that domestic candidates may lack experience with.

Find Supply Chain Associate JobsFrequently Asked Questions
What degree do I need for H-1B sponsorship as a supply chain associate?
A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or operations management typically qualifies. Some companies accept related degrees like economics or international business if combined with relevant supply chain experience. The key is demonstrating how your education directly relates to supply chain operations and analysis.
Do supply chain associate roles qualify as specialty occupations for H-1B?
It depends on the specific role requirements. Positions involving supply chain analytics, ERP system management, procurement strategy, or international logistics coordination typically qualify. Basic warehouse coordination or administrative supply chain support roles may not meet the specialty occupation standard unless they require specialized knowledge or advanced degree-level skills.
Which companies are most likely to sponsor supply chain associates?
Large retailers like Amazon and Walmart, logistics companies like FedEx and UPS, manufacturers with complex supply chains, and consulting firms specializing in supply chain optimization frequently sponsor visas. Companies with international operations or those implementing new supply chain technologies are particularly open to sponsoring foreign talent with specialized expertise.
Can I get sponsored for other visa types as a supply chain associate?
Yes, depending on your background. Australians can use the E-3 visa, Canadians and Mexicans may qualify for TN status under NAFTA if they have relevant degrees, and exceptional supply chain professionals might pursue O-1 visas. L-1 transfers are possible if you're moving from an international office of the same company.
How to find Supply Chain Associate jobs with visa sponsorship?
To find Supply Chain Associate jobs with visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which specializes in connecting international candidates with sponsoring employers. Focus on manufacturing companies, logistics firms, and retail corporations that commonly sponsor H-1B, L-1, and O-1 visas for supply chain roles. Filter specifically for positions requiring inventory management, procurement, and logistics coordination experience to match your background with willing sponsors.
How can I improve my chances of H-1B approval in supply chain roles?
Focus on positions requiring analytical skills, systems expertise, or strategic planning rather than basic coordination tasks. Highlight certifications like APICS or SCM, experience with supply chain software, and knowledge of international trade regulations. Document how your specific skills and education are essential for the role's success and business impact.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Supply Chain Associate jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
