Marketing Manager Jobs in USA with Visa Sponsorship
Marketing managers are sponsored most frequently for product marketing and growth marketing roles at Google, Meta, Salesforce, and HubSpot, where platform-specific technical knowledge and data-driven campaign optimization require degrees in marketing analytics, business, or a technical field that strengthens H-1B visa classification. L-1 transfers from international marketing teams at P&G, Unilever, and multinational tech companies bypass the lottery entirely for experienced brand and campaign managers.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About The Role
As a Segment Marketing Manager for Financial Services & Insurance at Anthropic, you will own the end-to-end demand marketing strategy for one of the most consequential verticals in our go-to-market motion. Financial services and insurance organizations are among the earliest adopters of enterprise AI, and this role sits at the intersection of deep industry expertise and Anthropic's mission to build safe, reliable AI systems that deliver real business value. You'll be responsible for developing and executing industry campaigns, ABM, and targeted marketing programs that drive awareness, pipeline, and adoption of Claude and Anthropic's API among financial institutions, insurers, and related firms. This means deeply understanding the unique challenges, regulatory landscape, and decision-making dynamics of this segment — and translating that understanding into campaigns, content, and experiences that resonate with technical and business stakeholders alike. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and who is energized by the challenge of bringing frontier AI technology to an industry where trust, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the marketing strategy for the Financial Services & Insurance segment, including positioning, messaging, campaign planning, and go-to-market coordination in close partnership with Sales
- Create and execute integrated marketing programs — spanning digital, content, events, and partner channels — designed to generate pipeline and accelerate the sales cycle for enterprise prospects in this vertical
- Build a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, buyer personas, and AI adoption patterns specific to financial services and insurance, and translate those insights into actionable marketing strategies
- Develop segment-specific content including case studies, solution guides, thought leadership pieces, and enablement materials that speak to the priorities and pain points of this industry
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, communications, design, and research teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with product capabilities and business objectives
- Design and implement ABM campaigns for top strategic accounts
- Manage relationships with industry analysts, event organizers, and strategic partners to expand Anthropic's reach and credibility within the segment
- Define and track key performance metrics for segment marketing programs, using data to continuously optimize campaigns and report on impact to leadership
- Stay current with regulatory developments, industry trends, and evolving AI adoption dynamics in financial services to inform marketing positioning and content strategy
You May Be a Good Fit If You
- Have 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on enterprise technology or SaaS, and demonstrated expertise in one or more verticals within financial services or insurance
- Have a strong track record of developing and executing integrated marketing programs that have measurably driven pipeline and revenue in complex, enterprise sales cycles
- Understand the decision-making dynamics, regulatory considerations, and technology evaluation processes that are common in financial services organizations
- Are skilled at translating complex technical capabilities into compelling, audience-specific narratives — particularly for both technical and business stakeholders
- Have experience collaborating closely with enterprise sales teams to align marketing strategy with deal-stage needs and pipeline goals
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and can balance long-term strategic planning with rapid, tactical execution in a fast-moving environment
- Are a strong communicator who can present clearly to leadership, cross-functional partners, and external audiences
- Care about ensuring that AI systems are developed safely and responsibly, and are excited about communicating that story to a sophisticated audience
Strong Candidates May Also Have
- Experience marketing AI or machine learning products to regulated industries
- Familiarity with the specific compliance and risk management frameworks relevant to financial services (e.g., SOC 2, SOX, banking regulations)
- Background in analyst relations or thought leadership programs within the financial services technology space
- Experience working at a high-growth technology company navigating rapid expansion into new verticals
- A track record of building segment marketing functions from the ground up or scaling them in fast-moving organizations

How We're Different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Product Marketing at Tech Companies Has the Best H-1B Track
Product marketing managers at Google, Salesforce, Amazon, and HubSpot have the strongest sponsorship precedent because understanding complex technical products and specific degree requirements support specialty occupation classification. These companies file thousands of H-1B petitions annually.
Growth Marketing Roles Classify Better Than Brand Roles
Positions requiring A/B testing, SQL, marketing automation, and statistical analysis have stronger H-1B arguments than creative or communications-focused marketing management. Target roles titled Growth Marketing Manager or Marketing Analytics Manager for the best sponsorship outcome.
CPG Brand Management Programs Sponsor Routinely
Procter & Gamble, Unilever, L'Oréal, and Colgate-Palmolive run structured brand management programs that recruit internationally and have decades of H-1B filing history. These programs require specific marketing or business degrees and offer $100,000 to $145,000 at the manager level.
L-1 Transfers Work for International Marketing Leaders
Joining Google, P&G, Unilever, or Amazon at an international office and transferring to U.S. marketing operations on L-1 avoids H-1B classification challenges. Build one year of strong campaign results internationally before requesting the transfer.
General Communications and PR Roles Are Hard to Sponsor
Marketing manager positions focused on social media, PR, or content without specific degree requirements face significant H-1B classification challenges from USCIS. Focus on analytically driven marketing roles with explicit quantitative or technical degree specifications.

Find Marketing Manager JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Do companies sponsor H-1B visas for Marketing Manager roles?
Yes, selectively. Product marketing at Google, Salesforce, and Meta and growth marketing roles with quantitative requirements have strong classification. CPG brand management at P&G and Unilever sponsors routinely. General communications and social media management roles face more USCIS scrutiny.
What is the typical salary for sponsored Marketing Manager roles?
Product marketing managers at tech companies earn $130,000 to $180,000 with equity. Brand managers at P&G and Unilever earn $100,000 to $145,000. Growth marketing managers at SaaS companies earn $110,000 to $155,000. Directors earn $175,000 to $260,000.
What qualifications strengthen a Marketing Manager's sponsorship case?
A degree in marketing analytics, business, or a relevant technical field provides the strongest foundation. An MBA from a top program opens structured pipelines. Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications demonstrate platform expertise.
Which marketing roles have the strongest sponsorship prospects?
Product marketing at tech companies leads because of technical product knowledge requirements. Growth marketing with SQL and experimentation requirements classifies well. CPG brand management benefits from decades of established precedent. General PR and social media roles are the hardest to sponsor.
How to find Marketing Manager jobs with visa sponsorship?
To find Marketing Manager positions with visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which specializes in connecting international candidates with sponsoring employers. Focus on tech companies, multinational corporations, and digital agencies that commonly sponsor H-1B, O-1, or other work visas for marketing professionals. These employers often need skilled marketers to expand into new markets and appreciate diverse perspectives in their marketing strategies.
What is the career progression for a sponsored Marketing Manager?
The path moves from marketing manager to senior manager to director to VP of marketing to CMO. Directors at tech companies earn $180,000 to $270,000 with equity. Some marketing managers transition into product management, general management, or venture capital roles.
