PDF Accessibility Consultant - C2C

- Participate in on-the-job training related to PDF accessibility, document remediation procedures, and remediation software.
- Use specialized software to identify and correct accessibility issues in PDF documents.
- Review assigned PDF files and perform remediation according to established procedures.
- Modify document structure and accessibility elements, including tags, headings, lists, reading order, tables, links, images, and document properties.
- Use automated accessibility-checking tools to identify issues and verify completed work.
- Perform basic manual quality checks of remediated documents.
- Coordinate with the agency webmaster to upload accessible documents and replace non-accessible versions.
- Work with the project supervisor to resolve questions and address complex document issues.
- Escalate accessibility issues requiring advanced remediation.
- Follow documented workflows and remediation standards.
