Job Summary
The Associate Director of Program Management, based out of our Fort Worth Texas headquarters, is an execution-focused leader responsible for driving publisher performance and growth across the Koddi Ads platform. This role leads a team of Program Analysts, with a core focus on delivering program excellence, scaling operational practices, and translating platform performance into compelling client outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader and operator who can manage complex publisher portfolios, develop their team's commercial and analytical capabilities, and serve as a senior point of escalation for more junior teammates. This leader will own program delivery quality across their client portfolio, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to surface insights, support upsell opportunities, and ensure consistent execution against client goals. Success in this role is measured by team performance, client outcomes, and the ability to build scalable processes that drive reliable results.
- Own program delivery outcomes across a portfolio of Koddi Ads publishers, ensuring consistent execution, campaign performance, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and develop a team of Program Analysts, setting clear expectations, providing regular coaching, and supporting career growth and retention.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client situations, guiding your team through resolution with a focus on accountability and outcomes.
- Build and reinforce operational processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across program delivery.
- Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to support upsell opportunities, QBRs, and renewal conversations through performance-driven storytelling.
- Analyze campaign data and client insights to identify trends, surface risks, and develop recommendations that inform both team and client strategy.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and marketing to represent client needs, provide structured feedback, and contribute to platform improvement.
- Champion adoption of new platform features, AI processes, tools, and internal initiatives across your team.
- Establish a team culture built on transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and team-building efforts as the organization scales.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in program management, account management, or performance advertising, ideally within retail media, programmatic, or ad tech.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing IC teams with a strong emphasis on coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Strong operational instincts — proven ability to build and scale delivery processes that improve consistency and team efficiency.
- Solid understanding of the campaign lifecycle, optimization tactics, and ad operations fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze campaign data, identify actionable insights, and translate performance trends into clear client narratives.
- Experience supporting commercial conversations, including upsells, renewals, and QBRs, in a client-facing capacity.
- Strong communicator with effective presentation skills and the ability to represent your team's work to senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced in working cross-functionally and aligning diverse teams around shared goals and priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficient in Excel, Google Slides, and major advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSPs).
- Experience using and learning the latest AI tools and capabilities to drive business outcomes.
- Willing to travel as needed.

Target employers with established sponsorship programs
Large technology and defense contractors file hundreds of H-1B petitions annually. Focusing on companies with a documented sponsorship history significantly reduces the risk of an offer falling through during the visa process.
Clarify the visa type before advancing in interviews
Some employers default to H-1B but may also support L-1A transfers or O-1 visa petitions for senior program leaders. Asking early ensures the employer's immigration counsel is prepared for your specific situation and timeline.
Document your specialty occupation case thoroughly
USCIS scrutinizes senior management roles for specialty occupation eligibility. Compile job descriptions, org charts, and evidence that the role requires a degree in a specific discipline, not just any bachelor's degree.
Understand how cap-exempt employers expand your options
Universities, nonprofit research institutions, and government-affiliated organizations are exempt from the H-1B annual cap. Program directors at these organizations can receive H-1B approval at any time of year without lottery exposure.
Use your management scope to strengthen an L-1A case
If you're transferring from an overseas office of a multinational company, L-1A intracompany transferee status may be faster than H-1B. Document direct reports, budget authority, and policy-setting responsibilities to support the managerial classification.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Director of Program Management roles qualify as H-1B specialty occupations?
Most do, but USCIS evaluates each petition individually. The role must normally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as engineering, computer science, or business management. Generic management titles without a defined degree requirement can draw a Request for Evidence. Providing detailed job descriptions and internal organizational context strengthens the petition considerably.
Which visa types are most common for sponsoring Director of Program Management positions?
H-1B visa is the most common path for new hires. L-1A is frequently used for internal transfers from multinational employers, and it has the added benefit of being a direct pathway to the EB-1C green card. O-1A is an option for directors with documented industry recognition, published work, or awards. The right choice depends on your immigration history, employer structure, and long-term goals.
Is a master's degree required to get sponsorship for this role?
No. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, operations, or business is typically sufficient to meet H-1B specialty occupation requirements. However, a master's degree can help if the degree field doesn't perfectly align with the job description. It also qualifies you for the U.S. advanced degree exemption, which improves H-1B lottery selection odds meaningfully.
How competitive is H-1B approval for senior program management roles?
Approval rates for Director-level program management petitions are generally strong when the employer files a well-documented petition with a clear specialty occupation argument. The main risk is at the lottery stage, not adjudication. Cap-exempt employers eliminate lottery exposure entirely. You can browse Director of Program Management roles with verified sponsorship on Migrate Mate to identify employers with strong filing track records.
Can I switch employers on an H-1B while in a Director of Program Management role?
Yes. H-1B portability allows you to start working for a new employer as soon as they file a transfer petition, without waiting for approval, as long as your current H-1B is valid and you've maintained status. The new employer files a fresh I-129. Salary, title, and job duties don't need to be identical, but the role must still qualify as a specialty occupation.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Director Of Program Management jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
